Nistica, a Bridgewater, NJ-based supplier of optical modules that automate and make affordable the delivery of high-bandwidth applications, closed a $6.5m Series C funding.
The round was led by Battelle Ventures, with participation from Novitas Capital, Technology Venture Partners, Fujikura and NTT Electronics Corporation (NEL), a member of the NTT Group of Companies.
The funding will allow the company to introduce new solutions that enable the creation of directionless networks unconstrained by grids.
