UK, BCW Engineering Receives £75,000 Grant for Business Investment

BCW Engineering, a Burnley, UK-based engineering company, received a £75,000 Grant for Business Investment (GBI) from the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).
The funding will assist the company to invest in new workspace and additional machinery, which will create 15 new jobs over two years, increase the company’s production capacity and ensure work is more efficient.
Following the grant, BCW Engineering will commit in the project a further £861,000.
The company, which has 80 employees over two sites at Phoenix Way and Bancroft Road, provides aerospace, automotive and marine components using precision engineering. The firm was established in 2002 and in 2008 became Tier 1 suppliers to Jaguar Cars and received approvals from BAe Systems and Aircelle.
In the longer term, the investment will help BCW Engineering to achieve Tier 1 status with more customers.
