MoSync AB, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of mobile application tools for standardization, has received an undisclosed investment from the former MySQL founder Michael “Monty” Widenius (via Open Ocean Capital), John Wattin, and David Axmark.
In addition the company named Dusyant Patel, a professional with more than 16 years of experience in telecommunications, as new CEO.
MoSync has since 2004 worked on MoSync, an innovative way to create mobile application to many mobile platforms and models from only one single code base.
The company aims to provide tools for development of applications on all major platforms such as Android, Iphones and Windows mobile.
