Powerhouse Dynamics, Inc., a Newton, MA-based provider of home energy management solutions, has completed an undiscosed round of funding to support the commercial rollout of its energy management system, the eMonitorTM.
The round was led by CommonAngels of Lexington, MA.
As stated by Martin Flusberg, company CEO, “This funding will allow us to ramp up production, now that we have begun shipping the product to dealers, and help us expand our dealer channel”.
In conjunction with the funding, Chris Sheehan, Managing Director at CommonAngels, and Edson de Castro, founder and long-time CEO of Data General, have joined the company’s board of directors.
In addition, Powerhouse also announced two new executives: Gene Cornfield joins as VP of Marketing and Business Development and Ben Sprachman as VP of Engineering.
