Next, a public-private venture capital fund managed by Finlombarda Gestioni SGR, has made a €1.5m minority investment in Microcinema S.p.A., a Turin, Italy-based company which is creating a circuit of digital cinemas.
Next joins existing investors Strategia Italia sgr and ACEC – Associazione cattolica esercenti cinema.
With a database of over 300 HD titles, more than 16,000 digital projections and 35,000 hours of satellite broadcasting, Microcinema today works with over 100 cinema owners.
