La Vie Claire, a Chaponost, France-based supplier of natural products through specialised stores, has received a €4m investment from NAXICAP Partners.
The company, which currently owns/franchises 192 stores, will use the funds to implement its growth plan and specifically to:
– extend its network with a medium-term target of 300 stores;
– build a 13,000 m² logistic facility to increase the product range;
– relocate and expand its headquarters in Montagny.
The new warehouse and headquarters are expected to open during 2011.
Following the transaction, Régis Pelen, Investissement et Développement, remains the majority investor with the management of the company significantly associated.
