Spain, Nazca Capital Announces First Closing of €150M Fund

Madrid-Spain based private equity firm Nazca Capital succesfully completed the first closing of its new fund Nazca III, raising €116m.
The final target of the fund, to be reached by Junio 2010, is €150m.
New investors in Nazca III Danske Private Equity, Scottish Widows, Idea Capital and Parish Capital, have committed €81m. Alpinvest, which recently acquired Fortis Bank’s participation in Nazca II, will invest €35m.
The new vehicle aims to invest around €10m to €25m in 7/10 low to mid-market companies operating in different economic sectors.
