SCM-GL, Inc., a Quebec City, Canada-based family-operated firm which manufactures the Snow Tracker, has been awarded $135,000 in repayable funding through the Canada’s Business and Regional Growth program.
The Snow Tracker is a steering stabilizer made to fit all models of snowmobile, Mounted under the skis, the Snow Tracker increases the device’s traction, improves its handling and provides for a more comfortable ride.
The funds will be used to enable the company’ to expand through the acquisition of new equipment and to implement a commercialization strategy to broaden its distribution network in Canada and break into the New England snowmobiling market.
The financial assistance will also help SCM-GL create three new full-time jobs.
