ZumoDrive, a Burlingame, CA-based application that brings content to all mobile devices, raised $1.5m in venture funding.
The round was led by new investor Sherpalo Ventures with participation from previous investors Tandem Entrepreneurs and VeriFone CEO Douglas Bergeron.
The company will use the funds to invest in product development as well as to build channel relationships to expand distribution.
Commenting on the round, David Zhao, founder and CEO of Zumodrive, was reported to say: “This additional funding positions us to continue to accelerate the rapid growth we have experienced this year.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with our investors in a really exciting and prosperous 2010”.
This funding follows previous rounds raised from Douglas Bergeron, Tandem and seed-stage startup funding firm Y Combinator.
