PlumChoice, Inc., a Billerica, MA-based remote technical services business, announced the closing of $10m in bank financing with Silicon Valley Bank.
This funding adds to $14.7m in equity financing that the company closed during the third quarter of 2009.
The new capital will be used to expand PlumChoice’s sales and marketing efforts and further develop its operations infrastructure.
The company provides online computer support individuals and small businesses throughout the U.S. Its services include support for PCs, MP3 players, personal digital assistants and other mobile devices, networking and network devices, printers and other peripherals, digital cameras and any software, connectivity or operating system level issues.
According to Kevin Rhodes, Chief Financial Officer of the company, this round of financing completed the company’s fundraising efforts.
“At this point we are fully capitalized to continue our expansion in the coming year”, he said.
