eInfochips Ltd, an Ahmedabad, India and Sunnyvale, CA-based technology design services and solutions company, has acquired nGIN Technologies, a Chennai-headquartered provider of hi-tech networking software and protocol stacks, solutions & services provider, for telecom original equipment manufacturers.
eInfochips provides IPs and a full range of services in software products and applications, embedded systems and integrated circuits to customers worldwide. The company has 5 design centers in India – four in Ahmedabad and one in Pune, and sales offices in Austin, Chicago, Toronto, Germany and Tokyo.
As stated by Mr Pratul Shroff, CEO of the company, with this acquisition, eInfochips will now offer a much wider and deeper portfolio of networking products and services to its customers.
“The addition of the nGIN’s analytic network solutions will further strengthen eInfochips ability to help deliver reliable, flexible and cost-effective network and value-added network product development services”, he added.
