Clear2Pay NV, a Brussels, Belgium-based financial services technology company that delivers global solutions for secure and timely electronic payments, received a €50m investment to fund its next stage of growth and potential strategic acquisitions.
The round was led by Aquiline Capital Partners LLC , a New York-based private equity firm investing in the financial services sector, with participation from current Clear2Pay investors.
According to an official statement, the investment is expected to be consummated by the end of this year and is subject to customary closing conditions.
