Artesis Raises First Tranche on $9.7M Funding

Arteris Inc., a interconnect IP solutions provider, announced that it has raised the first tranche of a strategic investment round totaling $9.7m.
The group of investors was led by new investor Qualcomm Incorporated and included ARM. They join existing investors, Synopsys, DoCoMo Capital, Crescendo Ventures, TVM Capital and Ventech, also participating in this round.
Arteris provides Network on Chip (NoC) interconnect IP solutions and supplies its technology to leading SoC makers for wide range of applications.
The company will use the funds to expand its global sales and customer support infrastructure to further accelerate adoption of its Interconnect IP and design tool solutions.
Founded by networking experts, Arteris operates globally with headquarters in San Jose, California and an engineering center in Paris, France.
