SupportSpace, a provider of on-demand remote tech support solutions, has raised $10m in equity funding.
The round was led by Emergence Capital Partners, a venture capital firm focused on cloud-based business and consumer services. Previous investors BRM Group and Gemini Israel, which led the past $14.25m Series A funding, also participated in this round.
The new funds will be used to enhance the company’s infrastructure, expand its team and acquire new partners.
In connection with the funding, Kevin Spain, principal at Emergence Capital, will join the SupportSpace Board of Directors.
SupportSpace provides its technology vendor, operator and retail partners with on-demand remote tech support solutions. Its offerings are delivered using a SaaS platform and a virtual expert network.
Founded in 2006, the company is headquartered in South San Francisco, California, and has R&D center offices in Netanya, Isreal.
