Six Degrees Games, Inc., a Marina del Rey, CA-based publisher of online sports entertainment, has raised $7m in equity financing.
The round wad led by Time Warner Inc. (NYSE: TWX) along with Clearstone Venture Partners and Prism VentureWorks.
The proceeds will be used to accelerate the growth of the company in the sports entertainment space and increase the internal development capacities.
In conjunction with the financing, Paul Condolora, SVP Digital at Turner Broadcasting, will join the company board of directors.
