WeWebU Software AG, a Herzogenaurach, Germany-based maker of standard software for Enterprise Information Management (EIM), received an equity financing from Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (BayBG).
The investment will support WeWebU’s growth strategy by strengthening sales and marketing nationally as and internationally in the coming years.
Comenting on the deal, Stefan Waldhauser, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of the company, said: “I am very glad that with BayBG we have won a renowned institutional investor for WeWebU Software AG.
“In addition to earnings from our continuous organic growth, the dormant equity holding of BayBG gives us the financial strength to push our expansion strategy without restrictions even in economically tough times.
“Nevertheless, we continue to be the master in our own house and also in future can act completely independently like an owner-managed medium-sized enterprise”.
