Axxana Raises $9M Series B Financing

Axxana, a provider of data protection and recovery solutions, raised $9m in its Series B financing round.
The round was led by Carmel Ventures with existing investors, Gemini Israel Funds and the serial entrepreneur Moshe Yanai, also participating.
According to an official statement, the funds will be used to accelerate the adoption of The Phoenix System™ Black Box, a company’s recovery solution that enables zero data loss.
In conjunction with the funding, Ronen Nir, partner of Carmel Ventures, joined Axxana’s Board of Directors.
Axxana is headquartered in Newton, MA and Tel Aviv, Israel.
