Following the launch of a plan to create a unique £37m Bioscience Campus on GlaxoSmithKline’s Stevenage site, funded by both business and UK Government, Richard Lambert, Director-General of CBI, commented: “This is a great example of business and government working together to fund an investment that not only creates jobs and stimulates a local economy but also helps drive innovation – the lifeblood of the recovery.
