Spain’s Banco Sabadell Opens its Representative Office in Dubai

In order to support the international ambitions of Spanish firms attracted by the market opportunities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Middle East, Banco Sabadell opened its representative office in Dubai.

The office is located on the city´s main thoroughfare, the Sheik Zayed Road, and will be run by Víctor Argüello, a manager from Banco Atlántico with extensive experience in international business.
In the Middle East, and more specifically in the Persian Gulf, Spanish firms are detecting significant opportunities related to large projects in several economic sectors including civil engineering, transport and management infrastructures, solar and wind energy, water treatment, tourism, and consumer durables (clothes fashion and manufacture, footwear, cosmetics and furniture, among others).According to the Secretary of State for Trade, The UAE economy is wide open and offers highly favourable trade conditions, in terms of duties, customs procedures and requirements to break into the market.

Banco Sabadell is present in 20 countries and provides services adapted to the different levels of support and financing required by the internationalisation of firms, both in foreign trade and also in the investment of production capital in international markets.
