Germany, b-to-v Invests in Translation Search Engine Linguee

Linguee GmbH, a Cologne-based translation search engine, received funding from BrainsToVentures AG (b-to-have v), a network of entrepreneurial private investors based in German-speaking Europe.
Linguee allows users to search millions of bilingual texts in English and German for words and expressions. Every expression is accompanied by useful additional information and suitable example sentences.
The funds will be used to translate the search engine into new languages such as Spanish, French, Portuguese and others, each in combination with English.
As stated by Florian Schweitzer, co-founder and partner of the b-to-v, “We also invest fresh capital in the quality of drafting and building a community”.
