New Mexico, Business Incubator Opens in Las Cruces

A new business incubator in Las Cruces, New Mexico, will support start-up technology ventures and small businesses.
The new site will be located in the 257-acre Arrowhead Research and Business Park on the campus of New Mexico State University (NMSU).
NMSU designed the Park to pursue business and economic development opportunities. In this contest, the Arrowhead Technology Incubator will be instrumental in helping the University and its partners commercialize technologies and develop start-up businesses.
The creation of the new facility, the 6th incubator in New Mexico, was facilitated by a $2m Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant for the Park. According to Dr. Kevin Boberg, Director of the Arrowhead Center, “that grant helped attract private sector funding totaling $3.1m, allowing us to grow to this point”.
