Virtual Ports, an Israeli developer of endoscopic surgery tools, raised $2.6m in a venture capital round of financing led by Virginia Life Science Investments and Skywalker Ventures with the participation from other American and Israeli investors.
According to an official statement, the company will use the funds for sales and marketing and to develop new products in field of surgical devices.
The company already received a $260,000 R&D grant from the Office of Isreali Chief Scientist.
