BonitaSoft, a Grenoble, France-based provider of open source business process management (BPM) software, raised $3m in its first round of funding from Ventech and Auriga Partners.
Miguel Valdes Faura, CEO of BonitaSoft and co-founder of Bonita, explained that these funds will allow the company to accelerate the development, at a domenstic and international level.
“We will be able to bring more resources to our community to make the deployment of BPM solutions equally feasible in companies regardless of their size, by providing solutions with powerful and simple-to-use features”, he added.
Founded in 2009 by the creators of the Bonita project 8 years ago, today the company can count on 300 contributors around the world.
