Radish Raises $63.2M in Series A Funding

Radish, a New York and Seoul, South, Korea-based serialized fiction app provider, raised $63.2m in Series A funding.

The round was led by SoftBank Ventures Asia and Kakao Page.

The company intends to use the funds to horror, mystery and thriller genres.

Led by Seung Yoon ‘SY’ Lee, CEO and Founder, Radish is a brand new mobile app for serialized fiction, bringing people early access to stories from top writers. Readers can access thousand of serials across genres and connect directly with their favorite storytellers in live community chat rooms. Authors can publish their own original stories, revive backlist titles with a mobile readership, and pre-release upcoming books.
