ViCentra Closes €10M Funding Round

ViCentra, the Utrecht, Netherlands-based company behind Kaleido, a small and light insulin pump, closed a €10m funding round.

The round was led by Invest-NL (€4m) with participation from existing investors INKEF Capital, LSP, Health Innovations and Kreos Capital.

Founded in 2013 and led by Frans Cromme, CEO, ViCentra is the maker of Kaleido, an insulin pump therapy which consists of two rechargeable pumps and one handset for people with diabetes to control their health.

The Kaleido insulin pump has obtained CE mark and is commercially released in certain European countries.
