Thras.io, Inc., a NYC-based-based large acquirer of Amazon businesses, raised $260m in a Series C financing.

The round – raised at a $1 billion pre-money valuation – was led by Advent International.

Founded in July 2018 by Carlos Cashman and Joshua Silberstein, Thrasio acquires Amazon third-party private label businesses, and then onboards, optimizes, and operates those brands. The company then drives organic growth through marketing, product development, operations, and supply chain management.

As commented by business brokers at ExitAdviser, Thrasio is one of the top 10 players on the business-for-sale marketplace.

To date, the company has acquired over 50 Amazon businesses, including 17 last quarter. With over $300 million in pro forma revenue and 6,000+ products, the company is one of the top 25 sellers on Amazon. It now has over 300 FTE employees and consultants across 11 cities and 3 continents.
