TermScout Secures $1.25M in Seed Funding

TermScout, a Denver, CO-based legal tech platform, closed a $1.25 million Series Seed and a previous $350k convertible note funding round for a combined $1.6m.

The series seed round included investments from Hilltop Venture Partners, Techstars, and EonCapital.

The company intends to use the funds to develop the contract review and comparison platform and launch a website offering free and premium information about the top 500 B2B SaaS contracts.

Led by Otto Hanson, CEO and co-founder, TermScout provides a tech platform for legal and sales teams to reduce the complexity and time required in the commercial contract review process. The system offers contract review services using artificial intelligence, plus real human attorneys, for under $100 per contract. TermScout is backed by Techstars, was a participant in the LexisNexis Legal Tech Accelerator, and was a winner of the 2018 Global Legal Hackathon.
