Satelytics, a Toledo, OH-based geospatial analytics company, received a $5m investment from bp, through its venturing business.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its technology further and scale its applications throughout the oil and gas sector.
Led by Sean Donegan, chief executive officer, Satelytics is a cloud-based geospatial analytics software company that uses advanced spectral imagery and machine learning to monitor environmental changes, including methane emissions. The company’s technology collects high resolution spectral imagery from the planet’s surface using satellites, drones, and planes.
