MessageGears Raises $12M in Funding

MessageGears, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of customer marketing solutions for large brands, closed a $12m growth financing.

The round was led by Argentum and BridgeBank. In conjunction with the financing, Walter H. Barandiarán, Managing Partner at Argentum, has joined MessageGears’ Board of Directors.

The company will use the new funds to expand resources in engineering, customer support, sales, and marketing.

Led by Roger Barnette, CEO, MessageGears provides a customer marketing platform that enables large enterprise brands to leverage all of their customer data in real time to send personalized messaging across various marketing channels, at scale. The company connects directly to their modern data warehouses like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift and Microsoft Azure. Enterprise brands using the system include Expedia, Rakuten Rewards, Chick-fil-A, T-Mobile and OpenTable.
