Bonusly Raises $9M in Series A Funding

Bonusly, a Boulder, CO-based platform for recognizing employees and rewarding them, raised $9m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Access Venture Partners, with participation from Next Frontier Capital, Operator Partners and existing investor FirstMark Capital.

The company, which has raised a total of nearly $14m in funding since inception, intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Launched in 2013 by CEO Raphael Crawford-Marks, Bonusly provides an employee retention and productivity platform for at every level of a given organization. The platform helps people celebrate everyday contributions and key milestones, automate time-consuming HR admin processes, incentivize participation in company initiatives, and offer digital rewards to employees. Bonusly also delivers insights on individual, team, and company levels so team leaders can make strategic decisions about culture, professional development, performance management, and retention. It integrates with several collaboration platforms, including Gmail and Slack,

The company also has teams in Seattle, WA, and New York, NY.
