Stardog, an Arlington, Va.-based Enterprise Knowledge Graph platform, extended its Series B round to $11.4m, securing an additional $3m.
Backers included new investors Contour Venture Partners, Dcode Capital, and Presidio Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Sumitomo Corporation.
The company intends to use the additional capital to scale go-to-market operations, planning to expand EU operations, strengthen the work in the public sector, and to develop tools and partnerships to broaden access to knowledge graphs.
Led by Kendall Clark, CEO and Founder, Stardog provides an Enterprise Knowledge Graph platform used by industry leaders including Morgan Stanley, NASA, Schneider Electric and Bayer. Customers use Stardog, which combines graph storage and virtualization capabilities for flexible data integration, for a range of solutions including operational resilience, pharmaceutical R&D and situational awareness. Users include Bayer, Bosch, Morgan Stanley and NASA.
