Census Raises Over $4.3M in Seed Funding

Census, a San Francisco, CA-based platform that lets business ops teams sync their customer data from a data warehouse to all its business tools, raised over $4.3m in seed funding.

The round was led by David Ulevitch at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from angel investors like SV Angel, Adam Gross (ex-CEO of Heroku), Ryan Petersen (CEO of Flexport), Fritz Lanman (CEO of ClassPass), Max Mullen (Co-Founder of Instacart) and Alex MacCaw (CEO of Clearbit).

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by Boris Jabes, CEO, Census is a data automation platform that syncs data warehouses with the apps ops teams use including Segment, Iterable, Braze, Salesforce, Customer.io, Snowflake, Redshift, Google BigQuery, FB Audiences, Outreach and Marketo.
