Allegrow Raises £400K in Funding

Allegrow, a Newcastle, UK-based sales automation software platform, raised £400k in funding.

Backers included the North East Venture Fund (NEVF), which is supported by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Mercia, Mercia’s EIS funds and a number of private investors.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its product and expand its team.

Founded in 2019 by brothers Ruari and Kieran Baker, Allegrow provides business to business companies with a software platform for sales staff to find and close new leads. The sales automation platform puts sales representatives in touch with key decision-makers in their target industries through data-driven outreach to attract more leads and book more meetings.

The company was previously known as Direct Software.
