Lessonly, an Indianapolis-based online training platform that builds learning and practice scenarios quickly, raised $15m in Series C funding.

The round was led by AXA Venture Partners, with participation from Zendesk, Allos Ventures, Atlas Peak Capital, Rethink Education, and The Yard Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Max Yoder, CEO and co-founder, Lessonly provides a training software platform for teams to learn and practice. The system is already used by 3 million learners at more than 1000 companies including Honeywell, Trunk Club, Jostens, and U.S. Cellular to power enablement, develop skills, and reinforce best practices. In addition to its existing offerings, Learn and Practice, the company will launch Assess, which enables learners to demonstrate proficiency in existing skills and hone those that need improvement, in mid-2020.
