CircleCI, a San Francisco, CA-based CI/CD platform, closed a $100m Series E funding.
The round, which brought total funding raised to date to $215m, was led by IVP, with participation from Sapphire Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, IVP Partner, Cack Wilhelm, will be joining CircleCI’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations its business reach.
Founded in 2011 and led by Jim Rose, CEO, CircleCI is a continuous integration and delivery platform for software innovation at scale. The company’s CI/CD platform verifies that every code commit is tested before it’s shipped, so engineering teams can focus on building products. The solution is used by engineering teams globally. Customers include Spotify, Ford Motor Company, Facebook, NBC Universal, Citigroup, Aetna, and Unilever, among others.
