Astera Labs, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of connectivity solutions for intelligent systems, closed its Series B funding round.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Backers included Sutter Hill Ventures, Intel Capital, Avigdor Willenz, and Ron Jankov.
Led by Jitendra Mohan, CEO, Astera Labs is a fabless semiconductor company whose product portfolio includes system-aware semiconductor integrated circuits, boards and services to enable robust PCIe connectivity.
This round, along with a strategic collaboration with TSMC for manufacturing, positions Astera Labs to scale production of its Aries Smart Retimer, a Smart Retimer Portfolio for PCI Express® (PCIe®) 4.0 and 5.0 solutions, and to accelerate development of additional product lines for Compute Express Link™ (CXL) solutions.
