Quantum Machines Secures $17.5M in Series A Funding

Quantum Machines, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based creator a complete hardware and software solution for the control and operation of quantum computers, secured $17.5M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Avigdor Willenz and Harel with the participation from previous backers TLV Partners and Battery Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the adoption of its Quantum Orchestration Platform.

Founded in 2018 by Drs. Itamar Sivan, Yonatan Cohen and Nissim Ofek, three physics Ph.Ds., QM provides the Quantum Orchestration Platform, which enables users to control and operate quantum processors. It is capable of running the most complex algorithms – from near-term applications of quantum computers to challenges of quantum-error-correction via its programming language QUA. The platform has already been adopted by multinational corporations and startups at the forefront of quantum computing.
