Paper Raises $7.5M in Funding

Paper (fka GradeSlam), a Montreal, Canada-based education company, raised 7.5m USD in funding.

The round was led by Reach Capital and supported by Bullpen Capital with participation from existing investors Birchmere Ventures, BDC Capital, Real Ventures, Google, Red House Education, Edovate Capital, and Anges Quebec.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the rapid growth of the business.

Founded by McGill University graduates Philip Cutler and Roberto Cipriani, Paper provides an educational support system which increases student achievement and teacher effectiveness. The company has partnered with some of the most influential districts including Irvine Unified School District, Springfield Public Schools, Sequoia Union High School District, Denver Public Schools, Tustin Unified School District.
