Vezeeta, an Egypt-based healthcare services booking platform in the Middle East and Africa, raised $40m in Series D funding.
The round was led by Gulf Capital, with participation from existing backer Saudi Technology Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Amir Barsoum, CEO and Co-founder, and Mohammad El Mougi, Director of Product Management, Vezeeta provides a digital healthcare booking platform and practice management software in MENA. With over 200,000 verified reviews, patients are able to search, compare, and book doctors. Doctors also provide patients with healthcare experiences through clinic management software.
The company operates in Egypt, KSA, Levant and UAE.
