Air, a NYC-based workplace collaboration/cloud storage replacement tool, secured $6m in funding.
The round was led by Lerer Hippeau Ventures, joined by RedSea Ventures, Advancit Capital, WndrCo, and a group of strategic advisors including the former VP of Business at Dropbox (ChenLi Wang), former VP of Product at Dropbox (Todd Jackson), and Head of Sales at Figma and former Global Partnerships at Dropbox (Kyle Parrish).
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its dev efforts.
Led by CEO Shane Hegde, Air provides a whiteboard for team’s images and videos. It allows brand marketing managers, content coordinators, and social media managers to share, collaborate, and manage projects end-to-end. The product currently serves over 100 teams in consumer products, goods and services, sports, media, and hospitality.
