Accenture (NYSE: ACN) is to acquire Mudano, a London, UK-based strategic data consultancy to financial services firms.
The amount of the deal – whose completion is subject to customary closing conditions – was not disclosed.
WIth the acquisition, Accenture further enhances its analytics, data and artificial intelligence (AI) transformation capabilities.
Founded in 2014 and led by Ed Broussard, CEO, Mudano leverages advanced analytics, applied data science and modern data technologies to enable banks, insurers and wealth management firms to transform key areas, such as customer behavior analytics, financial crime-prevention and intelligent data management.
The company’s team of industry-focused data professionals, based in London and in Edinburgh, Scotland, will join Accenture Applied Intelligence, which employs more than 20,000 professionals worldwide who allow clients to scale AI, including 6,000 data scientists, data engineers and AI professionals.
