Sysdig Raises $70M in Series E Funding

Sysdig, Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based secure DevOps company, raised $70m in Series E funding.

The round, which brought total funding to date to $206m, was led by Insight Partners with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Accel, Glynn Capital and Goldman Sachs.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its market presence globally and its leadership in enabling enterprises to run cloud-native workloads in production.

Led by CEO Suresh Vasudevan, Chief Marketing Officer Janet Matsuda and Chief Open Source Advocate Kris Nova, Sysdig enables companies to run cloud-native workloads in production. With the Sysdig Secure DevOps Platform, cloud teams at large companies can embed security, maximize availability, and validate compliance. Customers include Goldman Sachs, Steelcase, and Worldpay from FIS, among others. The company also announced today the launch of a Japanese subsidiary, Sysdig Japan GK.
