Verb, an Austin, TX-based learning and development company, raised $6.4M in seed funding.
Backers included angels Brett Hurt, Nav Sooch, Andy Roddick, Leon Chen, and Barshop Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing and sales team, add key product enhancements, including personalized learning, growing the content library, and developing new mobile app.
Led by co-founder and CEO Suzi Sosa, Verb provides a SaaS based platform focused on training employees on sought-after soft skills by using a blended learning model, reaching thousands of learners instead of just a select few.
