In the last decade, a new wave of tech startups have been founded to disrupt the sports industry in its various aspects, from the user experience, basically related to the enhancement of how people enjoy it, to products, solutions and services improving the way involved people work in the field. These can include e.g. products for professional and amateur athletes, analytics solutions for managers to improve their performance, news apps and augmented reality tools to enhance the viewer experience, and mobile sports betting websites, among others.
