Majelan, a Paris, France-based podcast production and distribution platform startup, closes $10m first funding round.
One year after a first € 4m tranche, Bpifrance, via its Creative Industries division, joined the existing shareholders in a round led by Idinvest Partners, with participation from Jacques Veyrat, Xavier Niel, and Fabrice Larue.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations and business reach.
Co-founded by Mathieu Gallet, President, and and Arthur Perticoz, Majelan provides a distribution and production platform for podcasts
Available since June 2019, the platform offers users a new experience of listening based on the discovery and the editorial content. It also offers approximately thirty original programs including documentaries, fiction, interviews, personal development content, etc.
