Accenture Closes Acquisition of Silveo

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has completed its previously announced acquisition of Silveo, a Neuilly-sur-Seine, France-based consulting company providing services and solutions for digital manufacturing and intelligent supply chains, among others.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Silveo brings a team of 50 professionals, who are joining Accenture Industry X.0.

Founded in 2014 by Marc-Antoine Peuch, Romain Durando, Laurent Autebert and Karim Ait El Mouden, Silveo provides several solutions based on software like SAP and Dassault Systèmes, among others, which gives information from production lines in real-time and enables companies to react quickly to changes in demand, supply, and the capacity of plants.

In its 2019 fiscal year, Accenture invested nearly US$1.2 billion globally on 33 acquisitions to acquire critical skills and capabilities in strategic, high-growth areas of the market.
