Workiz Raises $5M in Series A Funding

workizWorkiz, a San Diego, CA-based SaaS platform for field service management, raised $5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Magenta Venture Partners with participation from existing investor Aleph. Ran Levitzky, General Partner of Magenta Venture Partners, will be joining Workiz’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to enhance its automation platform for field service professionals, bolster its voice-based offering and expand its North American team and operations.

Founded in 2015 and led by Adi Azaria, CEO, Workiz is a SaaS communications and field service platform which offers patented voice interaction powered by machine-learning, contact management, online payments, scheduling, automated client notifications, advanced reporting, advertising ROI tracking and more. The company, which serves the U.S. and Canadian field service markets, has also released Workiz Voice, a voice feature powered by Amazon Alexa to promote road safety for field service workers to interact with its platform handsfree.
With this new offering, field service professionals can access job schedules, communicate with team members and clients via text or phone calls and navigate to job locations without touching the screen.
