NeighborSchools Raises $3.5M in Seed Funding

neighborschoolsNeighborSchools, a Boston, MA-based startup focused on child care for children, parents and providers, raised $3.5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Accomplice, with participation from Tuhaye Venture Partners and World Within.

Founded in 2018 by Brian Swartz, CEO, and Bridget Garsh, COO, NeighborSchools connects parents to thousands of licensed home daycares throughout Massachusetts. It enables people with a passion for early childhood development to launch and operate licensed home daycares and parents to identify home daycare providers in their neighborhood.

Providers who partner with NeighborSchools can increase their income while offering individualized child care for families that’s more affordable than large, center-based programs.

The funding round will allow the company to expand throughout the region.
