Atlanta, Ga.-based NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) acquired POS Solutions, a point-of-sale and restaurant solutions provider in central Texas.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
This acquisition further expands the reach of NCR’s restaurant technology – which is used by more than 100,000 restaurants around the world.
NCR will maintain POS Solutions’ existing customer sites with the POS Solutions management team and staff of local Austin restaurant experts. The integration of the POS Solutions team, led by Allen Devino, president, into the NCR local office network accelerates NCR’s ability to bring innovative solutions to the Austin community.
Solutions including the signature NCR Aloha point-of-sale platform and NCR Aloha Essentials subscription package provide everything restaurants need to run their business, boost efficiency and increase growth.
