Iventis, a Lincoln, UK-based software platform for event organizers, secured £250k in funding.

The backer was the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund, which is managed by Mercia and part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop the system and create three new jobs for technical and marketing staff.

Led by CEO Joe Cusdin, Iventis provides a software platform that allows event organisers to plan and share information on a single dashboard– from architectural drawings to the location of food concessions and details of transport and security.
The system, which also has potential for use in other industries such as construction, city management and transport, is now being used by a number of global clients.

The company currently employs four people.
